We hear them around here....and the rabbit population is really down due to the coyotes. I have read that they are attracted to pet food and water bowls...also bird feeders... especially suet.I have heard of them killing small dogs....keep Callie close.

Hope your weekend was nice...Balisha

Oh dear. These are almost as worrisome as mountain lions. Hope he moves on to other feeding sites.

Your coyote is really a pretty one. I rather like them, but most of the folks around here don't share my feelings. I think they are more frightened of us than we are of them. My dad would say, "They are just trying to make a living."

We see coyotes quite often here. Not long ago, while hauling hay, there was a young one, who stayed a short distance from us in the shade of a bale, watching us. It reminded me of a small puppy. But they can be a threat to baby calves.

Balisha, Tabor, Sandy, Barb, Mary and Judy, thanks for commenting.

Chip Butter, I smile and hope you are right. Just do not want to invite him to dinner :)
