Remember Your Words

Remember
on this day
and every day
to be

I will accept all that is,
 continue to simplify,
stay grateful
and
I will
just be
HAPPY......

Woke up
to a 5 degree temperature on porch
and wind chill even less.

I will not be straying far
on this day....

Happy New Year Ernestine! It's colder than cold here and snow is still blowing.

I think you will enjoy Netflix. I have a "movies" category on my blog so you may find other titles in those posts that appeal to you.

I don't think I will stray out more than once today; have to go out to the barns to feed my kitty cats.

Be Happy ~ good advice for me too.

So cold here, but have to venture out to take my older son (14) to his friend's house for an overnight. That is nearly a 45 minute drive, so am also planning a few errands while I am out and about. I am glad the heater in the car works well! Will make soup and hot tea when I get home and settle in for the evening!

Enjoy your cozy day at home, Ernestine!

Good Morning Ernestine,
It's so cold here....17 below when I woke up. The little birds are calling for me to scrape off the snow from yesterday. I really don't want to do this, but I am their staff...so I must.
Just read a book about Eskimos and today I can relate.
Have a warm and toasty day...what's for lunch in your woods?

Being Happy here, even though the flu is still visiting me and there is a blizzard raging outside. I am safe, warm and recovering. Thanks for your well wishes, too!

I put some pork ribs in the slow cooker and I am staying home as well!

Minus 39C here with the windchill, but power has not gone out in this small peninsula.

I am trying to be happy with challenges. A couple of unexpected deaths and my cabin fever which is exploding my left frontal lobe....
