Why I Am Up Before Dawn

Occasionally I am asked
"why do you get up so early?"
These are some of the reasons,
low 50's and it is Heavenly
as I view some that is surrounding this cottage
on this early September morning
in my life...

Another day begins.....

It takes a special person to appreciate those early morning hours with such reverence, Ernestine. Your photos of the sunrise are inspiring.

Wouldn't you still be able to see all that beauty if you got up at 7:00? Do you call those tiny purple flowers, Obedience? Curious--that's what Pearl calls them, so....you never know, LOL.

Judy, thats the name
and I just cannot stay in bed

I also rise early to enjoy the light of a new day. But sadly, I must be in bed by 9:30. Do you find you must end your day a bit early?

Nancy, I rarely mention - yes I am up early - love the beginning of the day.
But am in bed by 8:00 :)
My young granddaughter's when visiting would say
"grandma, we are going to bed and it is still light :)"
