Another Day Begins

Memories of auction and special treasures
Farmers market and Zinnias
My little garden looks good
for end of May
corn is growing fast.

Another day begins at
the edge of the woods
and
a new beginning for
one of my little ones....

This morning so much to do
and
would like as many years ahead
as I have had in the past....

Memories, our traveling back in time, we learn to accept.

Beautiful fruit at the market. Zinnia are gorgeous.

Happy Day.

Your garden looks fabulous. You should have many meals from it this year. Have a nice day today.

Balisha, it is small but surprising
enough for my table and sometimes for my Jamie...
Sandy, thank you...I seeds for Zennia's did not come up and found these at Farmers Market...

Wonderful looking veggies at the market, and the old chest is beautiful. I can't believe how big the corn is! It must have had enough rain to make it grow quickly.

Don't work too much!

Charlotte, thanks for visiting.
The little chair is what I purchased for my youngest granddaghter to sit by me. I am amazed at the corn also...

Memories do grab us and keep us still more often as we age, I find. Both good and bad because we begin to understand the scope of our life as we near the end.

good morning! lovely photos. is that an auction you went to or were you acutioning some of your own things from another life at another home? memories wander into our moments and sometimes steal away the present as surely as a thief. sometimes i wish mine were not so hazy in some areas. usually my long term memory is better than my short term, though! i know what you mean about the years ahead. i wish i had more, too. so much still to do, it seems, even though i see myself winding down in many ways. hope your weekend is delightful!

How well I know the feeling: praise at the beginning of the day, for community and mindfulness, the beauty of the wild that surrounds us with its gifts.

Beverly, thank you.
Sky, that was the auction I attended last weekend and bought the little chair for my youngest granddaughter to sit by me at the table.
Kate, thank you....

I know what you mean by wanting as many years ahead as behind, but today is such a perfect day.
