Yesterday

Yesterday
dawn showed a mist over the fields

A busy day with errands
 I wanted to stay home.
Weather is unusually warm for March
Flowers coming out of the earth
 are reaching for the warmth
of the sun, small bushes and trees
are popping with buds
flowering trees
opening their blooms.
All of nature seems to be in a hurry
almost a frenzy,
has Spring arrived?

Even the birds seem excited about
this unusual early warmth.

Another 80 degree day is arriving
and my heart is beating rapidly
there is so much I want to do.
Outside chores, inside chores and
a part of this matriarch just wants
to sit and watch the show and
stroll the paths in the woods.

Would that be lazy?
I have never been lazy.
It may be too late
in this lifetime and then
maybe not..

Do not have words to describe the
clouds before dusk last night.

I keep thinking
Beautiful
does not sound
grand enough

Sometimes, there are no words for description of something so grand. I was high on the weather yesterday--it was almost as if I could feel life returning to my heart. Re-birth! Resurrection!

It seems that every photo we take can never capture the beauty we behold with our eyes at each new happening. I'm also wanting to work outside, pulling weeds if nothing else. Since our weather can change so suddenly, I'm almost afraid to sow seeds yet. And you are so right ~ nature does seem to be in a hurry! My mockingbird is back and sang to me today.

It was wonderful to hear from Judy!

Charlotte, my ground is still to damp to plant my lettuce seeds.
My little square garden space I made smaller and I am not buying any more plants. I am very tired this evening. Thing once everything is cleaned and lightly mulched that I will be done.
Will see if I have to go to my original plan when I built a little over 2 years ago. Simplicity was my goal and I have wandered far from it...
Thank you for visiting and have a good evening.

i do hope you are able to sit and drink in this spring. I do not see you spending much time resting. You are a go-go woman.

grand is a fine word....

we are having a summer winter, and a summer spring, way to warm.

chores give us a feeling of being alive, accomplishment, they push us forward.

great post One Woman.
